Albert van Hell combines farming with keeping chickens. In total, a desired energy yield of approximately 40,000 kw. On the advice of BestWatt, a combination of sun and wind was chosen.
The small wind turbine accounts for most of the energy requirement. Completed with 100 solar panels. It turns out to be an ideal combination.
After all, the fans in the chicken shed always run. Day and night. The windmill too. On hot and summer days, there is more ventilation and we have plenty of sun. The combination of solar panels and a wind turbine turns out to be perfect in this way to fully provide its own energy.
